About Yi-Ngo Subdistrict
Yi-ngo (ตำบลยี่งอ) is a subdistrict in Yi-ngo District, Narathiwat. Its name also identifies a municipality and the wider district. Those administrative units have different boundaries, so municipal figures and services do not automatically describe the full tambon.
The SAO's profile describes southern higher ground sloping towards the centre, with low-lying areas elsewhere. It locates its office at Ban Ku Leng in village 2 near the Yi-ngo–Rueso road, while the municipal profile describes a more compact settled area with local sweet-making and birdcage craft traditions.
Establish whether your destination is within the municipality or the surrounding SAO area before seeking local services. Give the village or street name when arranging transport from the district centre. Food and craft activities are individual community enterprises, so confirm the appropriate host or seller rather than expecting a subdistrict-wide visitor programme.
