About Adang-Rawi Archipelago
The group lies in Ko Sarai Subdistrict off Satun, farther offshore than Ko Tarutao. TAT distinguishes it from the eastern Tarutao group: together the two form the principal island clusters associated with Tarutao National Park. Adang and Rawi are known for forested slopes, beaches and protected marine surroundings, while Lipe provides accommodation and boat services. The physical group, individual islands and legally designated national park are separate geographic concepts.
Pak Bara is a mainland gateway, with onward arrangements depending on the island and season. Confirm the intended landing instead of treating the group reference as a pier. The official 2026 notice keeps northern and eastern Adang areas closed through 31 December, despite the main June-September seasonal closure having ended. Check the latest park notice for each proposed stop; an operating Lipe transfer does not establish access to every protected island.
