About Bang Kaeo Subdistrict
Bang Kaeo (บางแก้ว) is a subdistrict of La-Un in Ranong. Its mountainous terrain slopes from the east towards the Kra Buri River on the west, where the river forms the international boundary with Myanmar.
The Land Development Department identifies hill country around Bang Kaeo Noi, Bang Kaeo Yai and Thung Ta Phon, with relatively little flat land. Khlong La-Un contributes to the southern waterway setting. The Community Organisations Development Institute independently describes the same hill-to-river geography. This is an administrative destination, not a designated border crossing; use the precise village location for local travel.
