About Bang Nak Subdistrict
Bang Nak (บางนาค), code 960101, is a subdistrict of Mueang Narathiwat, not the whole capital district or province. Narathiwat Municipality identifies its location in Bang Nak, with the Gulf to the north and the Bang Nara River on the eastern side. Municipal community records include old-market, riverside and town neighbourhoods. This urban administrative setting distinguishes Bang Nak from the more rural tambons surrounding the town, while individual markets, mosques, temples and waterfront places remain separate destinations.
Use a street, neighbourhood or named venue for directions within the urban area. The names Narathiwat town and Bang Nak can appear together in addresses, but a general town map point will not identify a particular government counter or riverside meeting place. For municipal services, consult the city authority; for a visit to a business or landmark, use the address and current information supplied by that venue.
