About Baro Subdistrict

Baro (บาโร๊ะ), written Baroh by its local authority, is a subdistrict of Yaha District, Yala. The council's development plan describes long mountain ridges and foothill plains in the west, with lower ground and small hills towards the north. Its landscape therefore varies between settlements rather than following one terrain type throughout.

The profile names Khlong Patae, Khlong Ta Chi and Khlong Kuwing among local watercourses and records reserved forest around the Li To and Kuwing village areas. Other named communities include Tan Yong, Si Se, Tiang and Bayo. Katong was separated from Baro in 1983, according to the district agricultural office's administrative history.

Use a specific village address for local travel and check arrangements directly for visits to working farms or forest land. A general administrative reference point is not a council counter, river crossing or public forest entrance.
