About Chabang Tiko Subdistrict
Chabang Tiko (จะบังติกอ) is a subdistrict of Mueang Pattani. The province identifies its heritage community with the former ruler's palace, Raya Fatoni Mosque and the burial places of members of Pattani's ruling families.
Pattani municipality describes the old palace beside the Pattani River on Na Wang Road, with architectural features and a later history as a residence for descendants. The palace is one site within the wider locality; the tambon itself is not a ticketed historic complex or a guarantee of public access to private buildings.
A heritage walk should use named streets and individual entrances. Check visit arrangements for the palace and follow mosque guidance around worship times. Give residents and burial areas appropriate privacy, especially when taking photographs or visiting with a group.
