About Erawan Subdistrict
Erawan (เอราวัณ) is a subdistrict in the northern part of Waeng District, Narathiwat. The Land Development Department's September 2024 plan describes a varied inland landscape, ranging from relatively level ground to undulating uplands and steep hills. Natural streams and irrigation channels form part of its agricultural setting.
The plan identifies communities including Tue Mayu, Khayaeng, Ae Wae, Cha Bae Duwo, Hin Sung, To Lae and Lubo Sato. It also names Khlong Kampong Tinga and Khlong Ai A To among the local waterways. These details distinguish this Erawan from similarly named places outside Narathiwat.
Plan a journey around the actual village you want to reach, rather than the tambon's general map point. The official land-use document is useful for geographic context, while current road access and any arrangements for visiting local farms should be checked locally.
