Kaeng Krachan National Park protects forest along Thailand’s western mountain range in Phetchaburi and Prachuap Khiri Khan. It forms part of the wider Kaeng Krachan Forest Complex inscribed on UNESCO’s World Heritage List. The national park and the multi-area World Heritage complex have different extents. Plan for the particular visitor area you intend to reach. Reservoir-side facilities, Ban Krang, Phanoen Thung and Pa La-U require different travel arrangements.
