About Kamphuan Subdistrict
Kamphuan (กำพวน) belongs to Suk Samran District, Ranong. The local-government development profile describes a transition between Na Kha in Ranong and Khura in Phang Nga, with the Andaman coast along the west and hills, land forest and mangroves inland. It identifies the Kam island group as a regional coastal destination; the islands and any protected-area boundary are distinct from the tambon. Community Development Department records independently confirm the administrative identity.
Choose the actual village, coastal departure point or managed nature site before travelling. Check current boat and park arrangements for island trips rather than using the tambon as a terminal address. The geographic reference centre does not identify a pier or beach entrance.
