About Ke Ro Subdistrict

Ke Ro (เกะรอ) is a subdistrict of Raman District in Yala, northeast of the district centre. The local authority places it beside the Sai Buri River, with Tha Thong and A Song on the western side and Cha Kwua to the south.

Its terrain alternates between rounded hills and lower, wetter ground. Rice is grown in low-lying areas, while higher land supports homes, rubber and fruit trees. The authority's planning documents also identify Budo mountain country on the eastern side, including forested headwaters. This mix of cultivated uplands, streams and river plains is more useful for orientation than treating the tambon as one village.

Check the exact community and road before arranging transport. River-side lowlands can flood, while forest and farm tracks do not automatically provide public walking access. For an upland or community visit, agree a local host and a meeting point, and confirm the return route and conditions after rain.
