About Khosit Subdistrict

Khosit (โฆษิต) belongs to Tak Bai District in Narathiwat and has administrative code 960208. The official local profile places Khlong Puyu along its northern edge with Ko Sathon and the Su-ngai Kolok River along the eastern international boundary. Communities include Ban Saring, Ban Boko, Ban Paluka, Ban Khok Mue Ba and Ban Plak Pla. Paddy cultivation, livestock, fruit, coconut and rubber farming are described among local livelihoods; the tambon is an inhabited agricultural area rather than a border-crossing facility.

Confirm the exact village and riverside destination before setting out. A location beside the international river is not itself evidence of an authorised crossing point. For local services, the subdistrict authority identifies its office in Ban Khok Mue Ba, whereas the map point on this page represents the wider tambon. Check local road and river conditions with your host when travelling after heavy rain.
