About Ko Adang

Ko Adang combines a wooded interior with sandy shores and marine scenery. It is a distinct island in Ko Sarai Subdistrict, within Tarutao National Park; Ko Rawi is its neighbouring island to the west. Park accommodation and camping are associated with Adang, but availability and the permitted visitor area must be checked before planning an overnight stay.

Arrange boat access and identify the park visitor landing rather than navigating to the island-centre coordinate. As reviewed on 22 October 2026, the official 2026 notice closes the northern and eastern parts of Ko Adang through 31 December 2026. The broader June–September closure period has ended, but that does not reopen those longer-closed zones. Confirm the allowed route with the park before departure.
