About Ko Sukon Subdistrict
Ko Sukon (เกาะสุกร), also written Ko Sukorn, is a subdistrict of Palian District, Trang. University and community research describe an inhabited island with plains, low hills and some mangrove shoreline.
Fishing and farming are intertwined in its four villages. The council's local-history publication records rice cultivation and longstanding watermelon growing, giving the island a rural character beyond its beaches.
Travel involves a specific mainland and island landing, and arrangements can vary with weather and the operator. Confirm the current crossing and meeting point directly rather than using the tambon reference as a departure pier. The administrative area and an individual beach or boat service remain separate destinations.
