About Ko Tao Subdistrict
Ko Tao (เกาะเต่า) is an inland subdistrict of Pa Phayom District, Phatthalung. It is unrelated to the well-known Ko Tao island in Surat Thani; the shared name must not be used to attach island transport or beach information to this locality.
Provincial agricultural records describe herb-growing and a women's community enterprise in Ban Na, Village 13. Royal Forest Department research separately documents plant-use knowledge in Ban Nong Din community forest, Village 12, including medicinal and food plants. These accounts concern particular villages within the tambon and should not be generalised to all of its land.
Arrange any farm, enterprise or forest learning visit with the relevant community. Ask for the village number and local road directions. Forest resources and cultivated plots require permission, and the tambon map point is not a visitor entrance.
