About La-Un Tai Subdistrict
La-Un Tai (ละอุ่นใต้) is a subdistrict of La-Un in Ranong. Official geographical accounts distinguish the lower-river locality of La-Un Tai from La-Un Nuea farther upstream; the cultural encyclopedia also places the district office in La-Un Tai.
The Land Development Department identifies Khlong La-Un, Khlong Bang Kae and Khlong Phru Kha among the tambon's natural surface-water resources. This waterway setting gives context to the administrative destination without treating it as a single river attraction. La-Un municipality and the wider district are separate administrative scopes, so their boundaries and statistics should be checked independently.
