About Lamo Subdistrict

Lamo (ละมอ) is a subdistrict of Na Yong District in Trang, east of the district centre. Its local profile places higher mountain terrain to the north, east and south, with flatter settlement and agricultural ground on the western side.

One local heritage site is Wat Mongkhon Sathan in Ban Lamo, Village 2. The Anthropology Centre records the active temple beside Phetkasem Road, with Khlong Nang Noi behind it, and distinguishes its conserved older ordination hall from the newer hall used by the temple community.

The tambon covers more than this roadside site. Choose the relevant village or temple entrance before travelling and check any interior access with the caretaker. Visits toward the mountain side require separate route planning; use local directions rather than assuming the administrative reference point marks the desired attraction.
