About Mysterious Hole — Ko Lan Coastal Cave

Mysterious Hole (โพรงลึกลับ) is a small coastal cave opening on Ko Lan near Thong Lang Beach. The mapped feature is on the rocky shore, with a view from beneath the rock towards the sea. A photograph captured in July 2026 shows the sandy, rock-strewn opening and water beyond. Visitors describe approaching along the shore from Thong Lang Beach. Access depends on the tide and waves: rising water can cover the opening and cut off a return along the rocks. Obtain current local advice and tide information before setting out, and turn back if conditions make the route unsafe. Published map opening hours do not establish a safe access window. This is a natural shoreline feature. A maintained visitor route, staffed entrance and on-site facilities have not been verified. Wear footwear suited to uneven rocks, avoid entering in rough water, and take litter away. The map pin identifies the feature rather than a verified trail entrance.
