About Nam Phut Subdistrict
Nam Phut (น้ำผุด) is a subdistrict of La-ngu District in Satun. It is distinct from Nam Phut in Mueang Trang, despite the shared English and Thai name.
The Royal Development Projects Board records a local water-supply project developed in response to household and agricultural needs. The documented engineering approach included electric pumping and a pipe-distribution system. Neighbouring Khao Khao's geographic profile identifies Khlong La-ngu flowing from Nam Phut into its own villages, placing the locality in the inland watercourse network.
Plan a visit around the named village or responsible institution. Water infrastructure is managed operational land, not automatically a recreation site, and access needs the authority's agreement. Confirm the final route and appointment location; the tambon reference point does not mark a pumping station, office entrance or natural attraction.
