About Pak Nam Subdistrict
Pak Nam (ปากน้ำ) is a subdistrict of La-ngu District, Satun. It includes the Pak Bara coastal community and its transport setting, but the tambon is a wider geographic area than the pier, beach or any boat operator.
The Anthropology Centre describes coastal flats, mangroves and waterways including Khlong Pak Bara, Khlong La-ngu and Khlong Tha Malai. Fishing and coastal aquatic resources are important to the local landscape. These community features should be distinguished from the schedules, ticketing and facilities of individual passenger services.
For an onward sea journey, obtain the exact pier, operator and check-in instructions. Confirm current sailings and conditions directly rather than relying on a general locality description. Visits to mangrove or fishing areas need a specific host or managed access point, while beach and village stops require their own road directions.
