About Paluru Subdistrict

Paluru (ปะลุรู) is a subdistrict in Su-Ngai Padi District, Narathiwat. The Community Development Department describes predominantly flat land suitable for cultivation, with some rising ground towards its southern and western edges. Farming and village communities are central to the area, alongside public services and more built-up local centres.

Paluru Subdistrict and a municipal service area are different kinds of boundary. The tambon name is useful in an address, but a specific village, school, office or transport point is still needed for an accurate arrival. Ban Paluru is one community within the wider administrative area.

For an arranged community visit, ask the host which road and landmark to use and whether transport is available for the return journey. Religious sites and farms are working local places rather than guaranteed walk-in attractions. Keep the Thai spelling ปะลุรู with the full district name, particularly when a service or booking is described simply as Su-Ngai Padi.
