About Patae Subdistrict

Patae (ปะแต), also found as Pate, is a subdistrict in southern Yaha District, Yala. The Land Development Department describes steep and rolling terrain surrounded by mountains on three sides, with flatter ground between valleys towards the north. Local waterways include Khlong Patae, Khlong Lue Neng, Khlong Yai and Khlong Manae.

Its village inventory includes Bayo, Lue Neng, Sa Pong, Kho Ro Ra Mae, Ba Chu, Ban Patae, Ka To, Mueang Labu and Talo We. The official boundary description places Malaysia and parts of Bannang Sata District to the south. These are geographic boundaries, not an indication of an international crossing route.

Identify the individual village for directions and arrange visits to agricultural land with a local host. Check the last road connection before travelling into upland communities; the tambon's map reference is not an entrance to the surrounding hills.
