Pattaya City Sign

Landmark Nong Prue, Pratumnak hillside above Bali Hai, Pattaya, Chon Buri

The large Pattaya City hillside letters above Bali Hai, with an adjacent terrace overlooking the pier and Pattaya Bay.

About Pattaya City Sign

Pattaya City Sign is the large hillside landmark above Bali Hai on the Pratumnak side of South Pattaya. Its red Pattaya letters and white city lettering are visible from the waterfront. Michelin’s local interview identifies the sign near Cape Bali Hai as a familiar feature of the city’s sunset views. The reviewed November 2026 photograph shows the red letters beside a blue-patterned viewing terrace, with steps continuing up the hillside. Another view in the same recent series looks across Bali Hai Pier, the bay and the city waterfront. The sign and surrounding overlook are distinct from the hill’s nearby temples and memorials. Use the actual hillside pin when arranging directions. The North Pattaya postal address attached to the map profile does not identify the sign’s physical location. Follow local signs for the currently open paths, keep the terrace clear and respect barriers around the structure. Confirm current access and any lighting or event arrangements locally. Earlier published lighting schedules and commercial ticket listings should not be assumed to describe your visit date. The hillside has steps and slopes, and a continuous step-free approach was not verified.
