About Ta Chi Subdistrict
Ta Chi (ตาชี), also written Tachee, is a subdistrict of Yaha District in Yala. The local authority's published community activities identify fruit and local-product promotion, agricultural technology learning and community forest work as parts of local life. These records give a more specific picture than the administrative name alone.
Named places in the council's records include Wat Wongkot Banphot and the Kaeng Nang Ram weir, where community maintenance activities have been documented. The neighbouring Yaha council places Ta Chi on its northern side. Ta Chi should not be confused with the similarly sounding coastal cape in Pattani, which is a separate geographic feature.
Check the exact village or venue before travelling, and ask the local organiser about any community activity you wish to join. A published past event is not a current festival schedule, and the subdistrict map point does not mark the temple or weir entrance.
