About Tano Maero Subdistrict

Tano Maero (ตาเนาะแมเราะ) is a subdistrict of Betong District, Yala. Official visitor and community records place Piyamit1 and Piyamit2 within this tambon. Their histories connect the area with former Malayan communist communities and later local development, including the Piyamit tunnel and historical museum.

Piyamit2 is also associated with an upland flower-growing community enterprise. Royal Development Projects Board records describe the cool-climate flower project, and Betong's agricultural office documents both the flower group and durian growers in the area in 2026. These features belong to particular villages and enterprises, not to every part of the subdistrict.

Plan visits around the named tunnel, museum, garden or host rather than a single tambon map point. Confirm current entry arrangements with each venue, and arrange farm visits directly. A government project record does not establish daily access to all working cultivation areas.
