Tha Khanon (ท่าขนอน) is a subdistrict in Khiri Rat Nikhom District, Surat Thani. Government heritage records identify Tha Khanon as an old community area within the district.
The municipal profile describes low-lying land beside the Phum Duang River, with fields and orchards in the surrounding landscape. The local municipal emblem also uses Khao Rahu and the river as geographical symbols.
The old community, the municipal service area and the whole tambon are different scopes. A market, office or riverside destination needs its own specific address. Municipal household or population totals should not be treated as whole-subdistrict figures without a boundary and date check.
