About Yaha Subdistrict

Yaha (ยะหา) is a subdistrict within the Yala district of the same name. Its council describes mountains, higher rolling ground and some lowlands. Rice cultivation occupies part of the lower land, while fruit trees and other perennial crops are grown on higher ground and wooded mountain areas remain within the wider landscape.

Khlong Yaha–Ta Chi is a locally important watercourse along the western and southern sides of the area. Named village communities include A Bo, Ban Yaha, Phong Luka, La Ko and A Sen. The tambon adjoins Ta Chi, La-Ae, Ba-Ngoi Sinae and Katong, giving it a distinct position within the district's administrative geography.

Use the village or institution name in addition to Yaha when planning a visit. The subdistrict, district and local council have different scopes, so a general Yaha address alone may not identify the correct destination.
