Hua Hin waterfront clearance begins; notice names 27 November for one property

Machinery began clearing waterfront plots on 30 October. A date on one inspected notice applies to that property, not the whole programme.

What has changed

Clearance work began on Hua Hin’s old waterfront on Friday, 30 October, with excavators breaking up concrete and clearing plots where structures had previously been demolished, according to Hua Hin Today’s on-site report.

The operation marks a change from the preparations described in our earlier timetable report. It does not establish that every building covered by the waterfront programme has now been removed.

Initial work, followed by property-specific notices

Machinery started work along Naresdamri Road at around 10am, with clearance towards Chao Mae Thap Thim Shrine. The programme announced the previous day concerned 15 buildings between the Fishing Pier and the shrine.

Hua Hin Today also inspected a notice posted at one property, naming 27 November 2026 for officials to enter and carry out demolition. That date applies to the property identified in the notice. It should not be treated as a new deadline for every waterfront building.

Do not assume utilities have already been cut

The report says officials were coordinating with water and electricity authorities to disconnect supplies to targeted buildings. It does not confirm that every disconnection had been completed.

Anyone affected should check the notice for their own premises with the municipality and utility provider. A previously announced schedule is not proof that an individual supply has been switched off.

Check access before visiting

Visitors with a restaurant booking or other appointment in the old waterfront area should contact the venue directly about opening, access and any changes to arrangements. Do not infer a business’s status from its proximity to the works.

Keep clear of machinery and barriers and follow officials’ directions. The reporting does not establish a town-wide beach closure or a general shutdown of water and power in Hua Hin.

This follow-up records the start of physical clearance and the new property-specific notice information. The earlier article remains available for the background timetable and the distinction between planned work and completed action.
