The Chai Phatthana Water Aerator Memorial is a commemorative installation in Lumphini Park. Its aerator-shaped form refers to the Chaipattana low-speed water aerator, developed under King Bhumibol Adulyadej’s initiative to improve water quality by adding oxygen. The memorial is a monument, rather than a booked demonstration of working treatment machinery.
The exact map places it within the park at 192 Rama IV Road, Lumphini, Pathum Wan 10330. Plan the visit as a stop on a park walk. Bangkok’s official park information gives general Lumphini Park hours of 04:30–22:00 daily and free general admission; posted gate notices, events or maintenance may affect access to a particular area.
The photograph is Hkgalbert’s image dated 15 November 2008, published on Wikimedia Commons. It documents the memorial’s earlier appearance; surrounding buildings, planting, barriers and the current condition may differ.

What the form represents
The Chaipattana aerator is a low-speed floating device designed to improve water quality by increasing contact between water and air. The Royal Development Projects Board describes its development under King Bhumibol’s initiative. This monument commemorates that work; a visit does not include an operating demonstration.
A stop within the park
Use the memorial’s exact point once inside Lumphini Park and follow the available pedestrian route. Current gate access, events and maintenance can affect the approach, so follow signs and park staff directions.
