About Mamu Subdistrict
Mamu (มะมุ) is a subdistrict of Kra Buri in Ranong. Its local authority describes a landscape of relatively elevated rolling land and mountains, with hillier terrain towards the north and undulating land farther south.
Thap Li is an identifiable community within the tambon: the Department of Probation's institutional register places Wat Thap Li in Village 4. This helps distinguish the broader Mamu administrative area from the village and its individual community sites. The retained map point represents the tambon, rather than a temple entrance or a visitor business.
