About Pa Semat Subdistrict

Pa Semat (ปาเสมัส), also written Pasemat, is a subdistrict in Su-Ngai Kolok District, Narathiwat. The local profile describes plains and low-lying ground, reserved forest and a stretch of the Kolok River forming the boundary with Malaysia. Village lakes include Bueng Boyo and Bueng Ku Che, alongside agricultural areas used for rubber, fruit and oil palm.

The administrative area includes communities such as Ban Mue Ba, Ban Khwa Lo Si Ra and Ban Lubo Sama. It is broader than any single lake or village, so give the actual local destination when booking transport. A general reference point for the tambon should not be used as a waterfront entrance.

The municipal profile notes recurring flooding during the wetter part of the year. Check local notices and road conditions before visiting lowland or river-side communities. Arrange access to farms or community activities in advance, and confirm any onward cross-border journey separately from local village transport.
