About Si Sakhon Subdistrict
Si Sakhon (ศรีสาคร) is a subdistrict within the Narathiwat district of the same name. Its administrative area extends beyond the central municipality. The subdistrict authority's disaster-management plan places Kalong and Bannang Sata District in Yala on its western side, with Chanae District to the south.
The plan records outlying communities including Ban I No, Ai Yaeng, Panan, Ai Tue Ngo and other villages. Separately, Si Sakhon municipality's profile describes its own smaller service area as including parts of both Si Sakhon and Sa Ko subdistricts. Municipal population, facilities or boundary figures therefore cannot automatically describe this entire tambon.
