About Suwari Subdistrict

Suwari (สุวารี), written Suwaree by its local authority, is a subdistrict of Rueso District in Narathiwat. The council's history places it northeast of the district office and records its separation from Samakkhi Subdistrict in 1992. It therefore has an identity distinct from the older administrative area from which it developed.

The authority relates the name to a great argus bird presented during a royal visit and given the name Suwari. This is the council's account of the local naming tradition. The administrative office is identified in Moo 3, while the broader tambon consists of village communities rather than a single attraction or business premises.

For local travel or an enquiry, give the village and the full Rueso, Narathiwat address. The council's published history provides background, while its current contact channels are the appropriate starting point for checking community arrangements or the destination of a specific visit.
