About Bang Phra Nuea Subdistrict
Bang Phra Nuea (บางพระเหนือ) is a subdistrict of La-Un in Ranong. The Land Development Department's land-use plan describes predominantly steep terrain with limited valley plains and a network of local streams.
Named waterways include Khlong Rawa, Khlong Kum, Khlong Ta Khon and Khlong Bang Thamma. The plan places eastern high ground in the Namtok Ngao National Park setting and western high ground in the Lam Nam Kra Buri National Park setting. This describes protected-land context within the tambon, not an assertion that the administrative point is a park entrance or that every local road provides visitor access.
