About Pak Nam Subdistrict
Pak Nam (ปากน้ำ) is a subdistrict in Mueang Ranong District, Ranong. The local authority places its community at the mouth of the Kra Buri River, where the estuary meets the Andaman coastal waters.
The municipal profile describes low-lying land and water, including Ko Khonthi, with the Kra Buri River and Khlong Sue forming important local features. Kawthaung in Myanmar lies across the international water boundary.
The whole tambon is distinct from an individual harbour, pier or island. Confirm the relevant departure point and current operator arrangements for any boat journey. This is Ranong's Pak Nam, separate from same-name subdistricts in Chumphon, Krabi and other provinces.
